Many SEM and SEO think that internal linking of a site is better way to get good ranking in search engines. This is fact if you have create a good internal links in your site its really helps to boost your site ranking in search engines.

I would like to aware about linking type. In my opinion there are two types of links which is used by SEO people to create a good internal linking on there sites.

• Absolute link

• Relative link

I have seen many examples absolute and relative link, it dose not matter you are using absolute or relative link on your site. Because search engines convert a relative link into absolute link and its dose not matter that you are using absolute link or relative link. However webmasters always avoids to using relative links on there site and an absolute link will not help a site increase ranking.

*Absolute link is defines a page or a specific location with protocol (http://) to get that file or document.
